MR. NEWTON KIMi'S WEEKLY AUCTION AND PRODUCE REPORT. At the Haymarket, on Saturday, a largo number of pigs were ponned. Bidding was brisk, but prices wero easier than for somo time past. Small slips made 4a to 6s Gd; good slips. 7s to 14s Gd. There was not much, demand for horses, though several hacke wero quitted at prices ranging from £1 to £5 10s. At the mart fowls made Is to Is 6d ; houdans, 2s 3d : clucks, Is 2d to Is 6d ; potatoes, 3s 3 1 to 4s por sack ; wheat, 3s 2d to 3s Gd ; flonr, 7s 6d to di ; bacon, 4£d to s{d ; hams, sd ; shoulders, 3d ; sugar, 13s per bag ; tea, 13s ; sundries and furniture sold at fair prices. Fruit. — The market is fully supplied with oranges, and I find it difficult to effect sales at anything like prices acceptable to consignors. There has been little other fruit offering this week. Cattle. — At Rahotu, on Wednesday, I had full yards. Thoro was a good attendance, but few buyors ; and the latter fact, combined with high reserves, militated against much business being done. Nearly every pen was passed at the hammer, but after the sale a few pens wero sold at about ruling rates. Small calvos made 26s ; 18-months mixed, £2 17s Gd ; steerp, £3 ; springing heifers, £4 12s 6d ; cows, in culf, JE3 lss to £4. Land. — The sections cold under the Rating, Act ou Saturday last, were briskly competed for. Lot I— Section 38, was knocked down to Mr Jco Ward at £11. Lot 2— Section 44, sbme purchaser, £10. Lot 3-Section 203, Mr T. Allen, £10. Lot 4 -Section 239, Mr Jas. Neal, £33. Lot s— Section 262, Mr Gr. H. Footo, £41. Lot 6— Section 263, Mr C. W. Govett, £35 Lot 7— Section 265, Mr Jas. Neal, £30 Lot B— Section 765, Mr P. C. Morton, £39, Lot 9— Section 969, Mr Small, £67. Allotment 17, with 4 roomed houso, was bought by Mr Webb for £60.— The whole of Mr J, Jones' interest in the Mokau leases was knocked down to Mr F. Wickham, for £7G52.

MESSRS VICKERS & STEVENS' WEEKLY AUCTION BEPORT. Messrs Viokers & Stevbns report that there was a fair entry of cattle at the Inglewood yards, on Wednesday, and the following prices were realised : — Calves, 20s to 37s ; yearlings, £ 2 Is to £2 7s; 18months to 2-year-old, £3 to £3 5s ; fat cows, £4 5s to £4 12a 6d ; store cows, £2 10s tc £3 5s ; bulls, 20s to £3.
