SURVEYING THEURIWERA COUNTRY. Wellington, April 11. Four leading Uriwera chiefs have requested the Native Minister to assist them in getting the wholo of tho Uriwera country surveyed at onco. Tho Minister is favorable to having the work done a3 soon as the present survey is completed. Tho block comprises two hundred thousand acres, and the survey would pave the way to the Native Land Court which could allocate the land among the different hapus.
