FROM OCR OWN CORRESPONDENT, April 7.— A fairly good house greeted the performance gives by the school children last night for the purpose of raising funds f>r the lining of the school residence, which, in its present stats, is unfit for winter habitation. I understmd Mr Garry has Bignifiod his willingness to undertake tho production of an oporetti by the children for tho same purpose. This woul t bj a change freni tho ordinary concert, and under such able management, no doubt would be a great success. On tbis occasion the stage « as nicoly decorat d, and the get up of the chi drea was exceedingly good, showing that the teacbors had gone to a groat amount of trouble. Mr Young was I in tho chair.
