FIRE AT MASTERTON.

Mastehton, November 24.

A ten-roomed house situated in Lincoln Road, owned and occupied by Mr O. Tilleard Natusch, was totally destroyed by fire this morning. An infant daughter aged seventeen months, was burned in the building. The insurances aro unknown, but everything is a total loss.

FIRE IN NELSON.

Nelson, November 24.

At about 2.80 a.m. a fire broke in the Bridge-street Boys' School, one of the principal Government schools in the town. The fire was evidently the work of an incendiary. The major portion of the building was destroyed. This ia the third public school whioh has been on fire within the last few months, each outbreak having occurred under the most suspicious circumstances.
