At the mart, fowls made Is to Is Id ; ducks, Is Gd ; potatoes, 7s Gd per sack ; wheat, 3s 4d to 3s 6d ; sharps, 9a 6d ; damaged flour, 10s ; soap, Gs 3d ; sundries and furniture were dull of sale— On Tuesday I held a clearing sale of drapery, &c, on account of Mr Florey, when there was a good attendance, and £;>ir prices were realised. — The sale of Dr O'Carroll's Burplus furniture on Wednesday was wellattended, and everything was wellcompeted for.

Cattle. — At Rahotu, on Thursday, tho yards were well-filled with a genoral assortment of cattlo. There was little demand for young stuff at tho prices asked by vendors, but larger steois anything over 18-months sold readily. Storo cows and dairy stuff also sold very well. MESSRS VICKERS & STEVENS' WEEKLY AUCTION REPORT. Messrs Vickisrs & Stevens report that on Wednesday there was a good muster of cattle at the Inglewood yards, fully twice the number advertised being yarded. With th » exception of one or two pens everything was sold under the hammer. Young cattle maintained last quotations, but dairy stock was not much enquired for. The following are the prices. Small calves, 17s to 23s ; yearlings, £2 Is to £2 7s ; 20-inontliß steers, £3 ; 2-year old steers, £3 14s to £3 17s ; bulls, £1 10s to £4 5s ; store cows, £2 03 to £3 10s ; fat cows. £4 128 Gd to £5 0s *, heifers springing, £3 10s to £4 5s jcows springing, and in milk, £3 10s to £5 17s Gd. They also report the sale of lot 4, part of section 205, containing 9 perches with building, in the township of Inglewood, to Mr P. R. Carthow ; also 1^ a ires, part of section 123 Moa, to tho 8a mo gentleman at a satisfactory figure, Mr G. S. Kennedy being tho vendor.
