ERADICATED PROM NEW YORK.

[per pbsbs association. I London, September 20, — Cholera is reported to be eradicated in Now York. The Canadian Government, however, does not believe it as yet stamped out, and is quarantining arrivals from the United States. Owing to tho Sheriff being ordered by the Board of Health to remove passengors quarantined there from Fire Island, the troops have been ordered by tho Governor of Now York to defend the Island, A seam in suffering from cholera was on board the steamer Uranus on her arrival at Hull. The deaths in Hamburg on Tuesday numbered 180. It is expected, owing to sovoro loss through theplaguo, that there will be many failures. At the present time there are 6000 clerks out of works. Ten deaths have occurred at Cracow ft cm cholera.
