DEFINITION OF A HACK : A horse thpt has never won an advertised race (Hack and Hunter Races wxcepted) and is not nominated, at time of start, and has not, .during the six months previous thereto, been nominated for any race (Hack and Hunter Races excepted)- - The Rules of Racing, as adopted by the Metropolitan Clubs in New Zealand strictly adhered to.
