Time,lmin 17 4-4 th 6ec. Second Day— November 30. Wellington, November 30. — The weather is fine, but threatening, and the attendance in limited. Results.— Welter Handicap. — Couranto (Redmond), 1; Weka (Lett), 2; Wanderer (Clements'!, 3. Liquidation and Martha also ran. Weka led for six furlongs, when Couranto took command, and was never again headed, winning easily by a length and a quarter. Time, 2min 27sec Dividend, £1 19s. Hack Hurdles. — Depression beat seven others, paying £4 3s. Hurdles — Somnambulist (Redmond), 1; Beggarman (Alexander), 2; Lone Hand (Freeth), 3. These wore the only staters, bomnorabulist and Lonehand raced together for a mile, when Beggarman joined them, and Lone Hand fell away beaten. Somnambulist and Beggarman ran together at the last hurdle, but the former had most left in him, nnd won comfortably \ by three quarters of a length. Time, 2min 55 1 sth sec. Dividend, £2 2s. .
