MR. NEWTON KING'S WEEKLY AUCTION AND PRODUCE REPORT. At the Haymarket, on Saturday, pigs sold at higher prices than for some time past, slips making 5s to 9s 6d, larger sizes 10s to 11s 6d. A larger number of horses than usual were entered, and, with a few exceptions, were all sold at good prices. Ponios made £2 15s to £3 7s 6d, hacks £4 lOato £7 7s, do. broken to harness £7 5s to £8 ss. At tho mart, fowls mado Is to lsgfid, ducks la 4d to Is Bd, new potatoes per lb, old potatoes 2s por sack, tea 12s to 14s, soap 7s 3d, sugar 3d. Clothing and sundries made fair prices Fruit. —During the week Tahiti oranges made 11s to lls 6d, pineapples 5s 6d to 6s per dozen, bananas 2d. Cattle. —At Rahotu bidding was better, and the sale passed off well; only two pens of Maori cattle were sent home. Calves made £2, 12 to 18-months £2 14s, heifers (springing) £4 ss, cows in calf to £4, with calves £4 8s 6d, poor yearlings 375, horae9 £5 to £7 10s, poor ewes and lambs 12s Gd. Land. —l have this week to report the sale of Mrs Sealy's farm at Omata to Albert Bayly, Esq. Produce. —Butter is in firm demand. Next week probably the result of the first New Zealand shipments will be ascertained.
