The last meeting of tho Ladies' Literary Club for the year took place on Monday evening, when tho attendance was good. The evening was devoted to Shakespeare's " Julius C«ssar," and the reading went very smoothly from beginning to end. The following ladies took part: —Mesdames Devenish and McKellar, and the Misses Hursthouse (2), Florence Webster, ConBtance Bayly, and Ella Rennell.
