STRATFORD TOWN.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,— Whether the Stratford Tc wn Board can legally spend its money under the Counties or lown Districts Acts on a County road within its boundaries is a matter »f opinion. It, however, under the "Public Works Act Amendment Act, 1887," section 20, can distinctly do so. I hasten to write this, as there is a slight panic on this matter. — I am, &c, Wai. G. Malone.
