FIFTY POUNDS FOR A GUESS.
An ordinary Walker's whisky bottle baß been completely filled with Dr. Fletcher's Pills, securely corked with a oors one inch into the ueck and sealed and placed in the charge of the Commercial Bank, Newtown, Sydney. No living soul knows how many ills the hotth contains. We agree to divide £50 (fifty pounds) in prizes for the nearest guesßee as to the number of pills contained in the bottle as follows :—: —

Conditions: — We make no charge for the guess, but only purchasers of Dr Fletcher's Bilious and Liver Pills are eligible to compete and the guess must be written on one of oar printed forme, one of which is wrapped around every shilling box leaving our laboratory after this date. In case two or mare persons guess tho correct number, the one first to hand will get the £25 and the next gne-s to hand gets the £10 and so on. Ia case nobody guesses the correct number, the nearest guess gets the first present of"" £25. Fletcher's pills are sold at one shilling per box everywhere by chemists, storekeepers and patent medicine vendors, or we will send a box with guees form for 13 penny stamps of any colony. All guesses will be tntered in a book and numbered as received. The bottle will be opened on J nnary Ist, 1892, and the presents sent at once to the lucky gueßsors.
