POLITICAL GOSSIP IN WELLINGTON.
NEARING THE END OF THE SESSION. Tuesday, September 22.— At fivo o'clock this morning the House adjourned after a Bomewhat long sitting of nearly fifteon hours. The Houso passed the Public Works Estimates, which provides a very large sum for oponing the district connected with Wanganui, but, as usual, Taranaki is to bo left out in the cold.
