FATAL BOAT ACCIDENT.

TWO MEN DROWNED. | PER PBKSS ASSOCIATION.! Qirbornb, September 18. — A boat capsized in landing from the b.s. Australia at Waipiroßay, when two station bands— Liddle and Neilson — were drowned. Wallis, the station manager, got on shore in a thoroughly exhausted condition, but is all right. The boat was returning from the steamer after embarking Mrs Wallie, when it was capsized by a heavy sea. Wallis, Longlands, (commercial traveller), Gelhnder, Talbot, Neilson. , and Liddle, comprised the crew. Waliis was nearly drowned in trying to save Neilson. Connolly, an hotel-keeper, saved Gellender by swimming off from the shore with a rope. The bodies of Liddle and Neilson have not boon recovered. A party was organised to patrol the beach.
