SUICIDE BY HANGING AT OTAKEHO.

In Saturday's issue it was recorded that a man named Nouman (a German), manager of Mr J. C. George's butter factory at Otakeho, had been found hanging in the factory. Further particulars are to the effect that the man had been missing for some time, and that on Saturday a search of the premises revealed the fact that the man had committed suicide by hanging. The man must have been dead some days judging by the appearance of the body, the face of which had been partially eaten by rats. No motive except temporary insanity can account for the act. Deceased was well-known on the coast in connection with dairy matters. An inquest Will be held.
