' Tuesday, Juno 30.— Tho Speaker took the chair at 2.30 p.m. The Select Committee recommended that tho Legislative Council Bill bo allowod to proceed, leaving iho Council to discuss tho clauses referring to seveu yoars' tenure and appointment of Soeakcr.

Tlio Committee recommended that the Criminal Code, Partnership Companies, aud Repeal Bills should be allowed to proceed.

The Promoters and Directors Bill and the Trustee Bill were rend a second time and referred to the Statutes Revision Cornmitteo. The Council rose at 4 p.m.
