SCHOOL COMMITTEE ELECTIONS.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — I see in tho southern district much quibble is being made over the Committee elections, particularly in the part taken by outside voting papers. These documents having to be signed before a Justice of the Peace, postmaster, or a local schoolmaster, the point has been raised whether n postmaster or a schoolmaster has any position outside his office or school ; if not, then the elections carried by voting papers, signed before those functionaries in their house to house canvasses, will be illegal, and will affect many elections. Can you ; throw any light on this point. — I am, &c, Householder.
