Turkey and Greece arc supplying food to those expelled from tho island. N.Z. VEBBELS ARRIVED HOME. London, May 17. Arrived : Barques Highland Glen from Timaru (January 28), Lutterworfch from Gisborne, Baldur (at New York) from Wellington (February 2). ATTACK ON THE PRINCE OF WALES. The Sunday Times recently published an article attacking the Prince of Wales' financial condition. Mr Augustus Harris, the proprietor of the paper, ■ has oxplaintd to the Prince that' the article was unauthorised, and he summarily dismissed Mr Phil Robinson, who alleges he wrote according to instructions. He demands a year's salary, and threatens to sue for it and call the Princo of Wales as a witness. Mr A. Beckett, of Punch, has been appointed editor in Mr Robinson's place, and the paper has published an abject apology for its remarks. FRANCE EXPELLING FOREIGNERS. It is reported France is expelling foreigners. COLLISION AT GIBRALTAR. Gibraltar, May 16. The Italian steamer Shura, with 800 emigrants on board, came into collision with the Buccaneer in the Bay, and received some damage. No loss of life, however, has occurred, and the passengers are now being reshipped.
