BOWLING.

NEW PLYMOUTH V. NELSON. The Nelson bowlers arrived here by tho Oreti this (Wednesday) morning. They were received by the local players. The visitors put in practice on the green during the forenoon, and in the afternoon they played the local club. Tho competing rinks were as follows :—: — New Plymouth. Nelson. No. 1— Davis Hankinson McAllum Butlle Jones Kempthorne '; Veale (skip) Lyell (skip) No. 2—2 — Jury Edwards Gold water Ledger Sanderson Trask, jun. Paul (skip) Winton (skip) The game, which started at 2 o'clock, was played in 25 Meads. Tho visitors will be entertained to-night by Mr Samuel,' President of the local club.
