Melboubne, January 28. sa.r Munro, Premier, has wired to the Agent-General that the Governments of Victoria and Tasmania feel that ,the colonies should be allowed to negotiate commercial treaties direct with Eurepean Powers, and urges him to inquire whether there is any insuperable objection to that course.*'" ' '*~ j ~* ' The South Australian Government agrees with Victoria, that the colonies should have the right to make commercial treaties direct with European powers. Sydney, January 28. Captain Rossi has obtained an injunction restraining the Bishop of Goulburn, from interfering with the former's family tablet in the Goulburn Cathedral.
