ANNUAL MEETING OF SHARE- . HOLDERS. [PBB PRESS ASSOCIATION. | Auckland, January 5. — At the annual meeting of shareholders of the New Zealand Insurance Co. the report, as previously telegraphed, was adopted with the balancesheet. Dr Campbell and Mr Thos. Russell were re-elected Directors, and Messrs A. Board man and J. Way mouth, auditors. A discussion' arose regarding the American business of the Company, when Mr Warwick Weston, Inspector, assured the shareholders that business in America was done only on the Pacific slope, and judging 'by the returns of the past sixteen years the branch was as good as any which was under daily supervision of shareholders.
