WBIIAKEB-HOrOHISON CASE. Auckland^ January 13. The Commission appointed to take evidence on Mr Hutchison's charges closed its sittings yesterday. -' The witnesses examined were W. Hodge, R. William Keckie, a miner of New River, was found dead in bed this morning. • " „<. FATAL RAILWAY ACCIDENT. Brdnnbrton, January 13;. After the train was .brought to a standstill, at live o'clock, Mrs R. Bmith got out with a child in her arms, leaving one on the platform. The train again started, with a jerk, throwing the child head on the rails underneath the wheel. The child's head was crushed, and it died.
