Melbourne, December 5. Arrived : Manapouri, from the Bluff. The Amalgamated Association of Miners has remitted a sum of £300 in aid of the miners who went out on strike at Denniston. SrDNfiY, December 5. A Census Bill which provides for taking a census on the night of April sth, has been introduced into tha-House of Assembly. The coal lumpers who were out on strike, have resumed work. An important discovery of coal has been made near Corand. The report of the medical gentlemen attending Ibbot, the Swedish faster, state that it is possible to feel his spinal column by pressing against his stomach.
