FIRE IS WELLINGTON BARBA' KS.
The married men's quarters at the Wellington Barracks were partially burnt to-day. Many inmates were only rescued with difficulty. The women and children had to be lowered from the windows by ladders. No lives were lost, but 2f> person? were more or less injured.
