LABOUB DISPUTES IN IJEW -'t "" ZEALAND.' ■'■' ASSETS OF TRADE UNIONS. [PXB PBJCSS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, September 10.—^The assets of the New Zealand Trade Unions only amount to £5,700, of which some £4,000 belongs to the Seamen's Union alone. CONCILIATION PROPOSALS. Dunbdin, September 10. — The Maritime Council do not intend at present to publish tbe proposals submitted to the Conciliation Committee, as was intended, owing to the convening of a Labour Conference at Sydney, at which Sangster '(Sydney), Davis (Victoria), and Seymour (Queensland) have been appointed delegates for the Council. CARTERS RESUMED WORK. The carters have resumed work to-day for the puplic convenience, but will not carry goods for the Union Company.UNION EXECUTIVE AND ROWDYISM. Chkistohuroh, September 10. — Tbe Executive of the Trades and Labour Council have passed a resolution regretting the action of certain ill-advised persons against the free labourers, and disclaiming any responsibility. They urge the Unionists to carefully abstain from participation in apy hostilities.
