Maria Theresa ifl one of the few daughters of Stockwell's brother Bataplan ever imported to New Zealand. Gunboat waß one of the best sons of Sir Herodle's, and Marie Aj«nes. granddara of Maria Tpereea was by The Cossack, who won, the Derby of 1847. Both the sire and dam of Maria Theresa traoe back directly to Sir Hercules on their sire's side, and the. name of Pantaloon appears at both the top and bottom of Thb Dauphin's pedigree table.
