LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL. " Thursday, August 28. — The Speaker took the chair at 2. 30. p.m. On the motion of the Hon. E. C. Stevens, the Employers Liability Bill was reinstated on the Order Papers for second reading on Tuesday. Several Bills were read a second time, and amongst them the Stratford County Bill. The Shipping and Seamen's Bill was oonsidered in committee, and reported, clause 10 being struck out. The Council rose at 5 p.m.
