MURDER IN RECREATION GROUND.

THE RESUMING OF INQUEST. The inquest touching the death of Stephen Maloney, who was found murdered in the Recreation Grounds on April 12, whbh had been adjourned for a fortnight, will be resumed on Monday next, at the Courthouse. The authorities hope to complete the enquiry without any further interruption. There will be a large number of witnesses to examine, and it is likely that the enquiry will take a full week, if not more. Mr Samuel appears for the Maori, Main Kai, who is charged with committing 1 tho deed, and since the adjournment of the inquest he has been working diligently on his behalf.
