KENT ROAD.

[from our own correspondent.] Apkil 29. — At a meeting of the inhabitants of the Egmont School District, which was held in the Lower Kent Koad School on Monday last, fllr Richard Price in the chair, a vote of thanks was carried to the last committee for this district. The election then took place, when Messrs Price (71), Arrowsmith (59), Alexander (41), James (38), Newland (34), S. Marsh (33), A. Marsh (38), were elected, Mr A. Chatterton being the defeated candidate, who secured 6 votes. Mr Arrowsmith, on the motion of Mr Price, seconded by Mr E. James, was elected chairman of the new committee.
