INGLEWOOD.
[FROM OUB OWN CORRESPONDENT.] April 29. — The annual election of the Inglewood School Committee was held in the schoolroom on Monday. After the statement of accounts, &c, for the past year was read, the election of a new Com ruittee was proceeded with. The following are the names of the seven gentlemen elected out of nine proposed, and the number of votes recorded to each : — M. McDonald (Norfolk Road), 14; Lamb, 13; Carstens, 12 ; Mattock, 11; Wells, 10 : Andrews (stationmasterj, 10; R. Stevens, 9j After the election, the newly elected Committee met for the purpose of electing a chairman, Mr R, Stevens, the chairman of the last Committee, was elected as the ne\y chairman previous to the election taking place. The chairman stated that the Committee had every reason to be Batisfied with the results of the past year, also with the staff of teachers. A vote of thanks was accorded to the outgoing Committee. The next meeting of the Committee will be held at the Inglewood Bohool-room on May the lut, at 7 p.m., and afterwards every 4th Thursday, until furthqr notice, Uv Andrews, WSS PP«
