WAITARA.
[FROM OUtt OWN CORRESPONDENT.] ArniL 26. — At a meeting of the School Committee on Monday night, April 21, a petition was received from a number of inhabitants of the east side of the township asking for an infant school to be opened for the benefit of their children, who at present cannot go to the amalgamated school. After discussion it was resolved to forward the petition to the Board of Education.
