The meeting will he conducted under tho rules of the Wangunui Caledonian Society (ob far us practicable). Nominations for all handicap events to be in the hinds ot tho Secretary by 9 p.m. on MONDAY, 24th March, 1890, accompanied Dy the necessary amount in cash, and also all performances for the previous two years ; if nominators have not run during that time, the Ust three performances to be given. Handicaps will be declared on Saturday, 29th March. Acceptances on the ground 15 minutes before starting. Competitors to wear propt r athletic costumes. Tbe decisions of the Judges in all cases to be final. Competitors in No. 15 (Ludieß' Bracelet) to be nominated by ladies. Winners will have the option of taking trophies or cash, In the event of tbe weather being unfavorable, the management reaerve the right to postpone the sports till a future date. The Taranaki Riflea Band will play selections during the day. Admission to grounds, Is ; children under 12, half-price. Boating on the Lake and other amusements.
