KAITANGATA. hKLIBF FUND.

During the discussion at the Mining Conference on the Kaitangata Relief Fund, Mr G. L. Gillies said it would be about two years before the children were off the fund. The amount raised was £15,575, of which £819 had been, paid for funeral expenses, debts of families, etc., till the executive were appointed. The balance had been invested, and since then there had been expended, in direct relief £14,631, which carao within £184 of the original fund of capital. Theie remained over £11,000.
