RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

THIS L>A.Y. Friday, November 22.— Before F. A. Carrington, Esq., J.P., and George Curtis, Esq., J.P. Wages Claim. — Fowler v. Bayly. Mr Samuel appeared for the plaintiff, and Mr Govett for the defendant. This was a claim by William Fowler, late a shopman at Mr Bayly's meat bazaar, to recover from W. Bayly £11 wages. Mr Govett, o» behalf of defendant, applied for an adjournment in order that the case might be heard before Mr Rawson, R.M., instead of before Justices, as there was a question of law involved of some nicety. Mr Samuel consented, and the case was adjourned to Thursday, sth December, when Mr Rawson will be in New Plymouth. The Court rose.
