Messrs Dingle & Corke, whilst thanking their numerous customers for the manner in which they have been enabled to reduce their stock, now invite attention to a large consignment of furniture and fancy goods just received from Auckland. The shipmeat includes chairs with the latest Yankee improvements ; carved ivory pictures, novelties in basketware, beautiful sbella, and a very large variety of vaseß and ornaments. They have now a stock which for assortment and variety cannot be excelled in the larger towns ; whilst the quality and moderate prioeß ot their goods are so well known that it is almost superfluous to udd that as a general furnishing store Dingle A Corke's is tin best. — Advt.

Hood begs to draw attention to her advertisement in the fourth page, and, to add to it, that as it is absolutely necessary for her, owing to continued ill health, to wind up the business without any delay, she is prepared to accept from purchasers of parcels even lower prices than those quoted.
