A publio meeting, indignant at the Imperial Government shelving the bill, requests Parliament to appeal to the Australian Governments to support Western Australia in its demands.
Sydney, July 27. Heavy storms, with terrific rains, have occurred since Thursday.
The Government astronomer has been advised of the discovery of two new comets by the astronomers of Kiel, Germany, on the sth and 6th. They are visible here.
