EXTENSIVE STRIKE.
London, July 11. An extensive strike of rail makers has ooourred, as a consequence of a demand for higher wages made by the men, whioh demand was not acoeeded to by the employers. Already 15,000 men have taken part in the strike and gone out. A NKW WAY OF OBTAINING MOSKY. Parnell has decided to at once establish a Tenants' Defence League, owing to the combination of landlords to break down the Plan of Campaign. A National Convention has been convened to approve of his decision. DEATH OF HBRR WffißEß. Berlin, July 11. Theodore Weber, formerly manager of the German Trading and Plantation Company at Samoa, is dead. Mr Webber was connected with the firm of Goddefroy and Co. prior to its being merged into the larger company, and during his residence at Samoa held the position of German Consul for that country. NIHILISM IS RU3BIA. bT. Petebsbubg. July 11. Revelations of a startling oharaoter have been made by Hartman, who has been oloßely associated with the Nihilist movement of many years, and who was the prime mover in blowing up a train on the Moscow railway in 1879. He has disclosed a plot whioh had for its object the destruction of the Czar of Russia by dynamite, and a further plot to secure a Revolution in France.
