MB. NEWTON KING'S WEEKLY AUCTION AND PBODtfOE BBPOBT. At the Haymarket, on Saturday, owing probably to the low prices ruling of late no pigs were yarded. A good number of hacks were offered, most of which were sold at prices ranging from £1 2> 6d to £1 7s «d. At the Mark fowls made 74 to Is 2d, chicks 4d to Ed, dncks Is 7d, potatoes 3s, onions £d to Id, cheese 6d, lice S£d, sugar 2|d to 3d, tea 13i, soap ss. A quantity of second hand watches sold at low rates, Fruit.— At Wednesday's sale then was an improred demand for all kind* of fruit, good russets making It, oookers 6s 6d, oranges 9s, bananas 2^i, qainces l|d. Cattle.— Tha Stratford monthly sale, keld on Tuesday, was well attended, and on the whole good prices were obtained, calrosand yearlings being in great request, these Bade 10s to 17f, heif-jrs springing 48 to £4, cows do &i to £4 7s 6d, heifers in calf 42 6s t« AZ 16s, bolls 208, 18-months steers 41 10s. Batter.— Owing to the decline ia Australia, caused by the heavy rains in the dairying districts, bntter is weaker. Probably a few weeks may sLow some improvement. Potatoes an not so firm; onions at lart quotations. Grass seeds remain dull,
