The oustomary procession through {he streets of the oity, on the occasion of swearing in the new Lord Mayor, took plaoe to-day, and passed off in a quiet and orderly manner. Heavy: lain fell incessantly during the whole day, and the usual crowds of sightseers were consequently not so large as on previous occasions. ITALIAN TROOPS IN MAS3OWAH. Suakin, November 8. A staff has been appointed to conduct the operations of the Italian forces who have arrived at Massowah.
