The following are the conditions :— Mr. Henry Weston, proprietor of the Tabajjaki Hkbald and The Budget, will give a prize of £5 5s for the best sample of WOOU TAB produced from native timbers growing in the Counties of Taranaki, Clifton, or Hawera, the quantities exhibited to consist of not less than thirty gallons, in a cask of local manufacture. Each exhibit to be accompanied by a clear description of the process' adopted in its manufacture, and estimate of cost of production. Five gallons of tbe prize' exhibit to be available for analysis and trnde tests. Mb. F. P. Coukilili will give a prize of £5 6s for the best sample of POTASH, produced from native timbers growing in the Counties of Taranaki, Clifton, or Hawera, the quantity exhibite 1 to consist of not less than one hundredweight, put up in packages of local manufacture.
