HALF-YEARLY MEETING. m-XIS TDA.TT. The half-yearly meeting of tho shareholders of the Bank of New Zealand was held in Auckland at noon to-day, Dr. Campbell, Chairman of Directors, presiding. The Directors' report showed that the nett profits for the half-. ear amounted to £26,511 16s lid, which, with the balance from last half-year, gave £41,106 7s 2d available for distribution. It was proposed to carry £45,000 (? £25,000) to the contingency account, and the remainder to profit and loss new account.
