Little Ruby Greenwood, the " child elooui^onist," has just finished her story, "Little Folks." As soon as properly illustrated it will bo published, and offered to tho public. The annivorsary of the local Wesleyan Church, which was built in Ootober, 1857, was celebrated on Wednesday evening by a tea meeting held in the Sunday schoolroom. A large number of people sat down to the tables, which numbered three. The first table was under the charge of Mrß. Beck and Miss McVValters ; the Becond, Mesdamea Morshead and Rogers ; and the third, Mesdamea Okoy and Ourter, and Mias Okoy. After toa, addresses wore given by the Rev. Mr. Beck, and Messrs. Okcy, T. Veale, Oollis, and Asher. Between tho addresses, the choir renderod several anthoms in a spirited manner. Mias Okey presided at the piano. Tho following tenders wero rocoivod on Wednesday by Mr. Sanderson, the architect, for building a now Church of England Sunday School, on tho site of tho present ono :-~Mcßßrs. R. Earley and Allan, £278 (accepter!); Wobberley aud Hart, £316 10s; J. Fowler, £341 10s; W. Howson, £30G; T. J. Brabant, £448 10s; M. Clow, £322; M. Jones, £354 15s; G. Cliff, £312 10a. Foui prices were put in by each tenderer, the No, 4 tenders bein^ the once enumerated. The tonderu wore opened by tho Vestry at 8 o'olock on Wednesday night. Thero hns long been folt a, great want of a thoroughly experienced and stylish dross and mantlo maker, ono that will out the stuff to tho best advantago, and give a perfect fit and guaranteed workmanship.
