LAND BOARD.

The Land Board met on Monday. Present: Messrs, T. Kelly (Chairman), Livingston, and Syme. Land Transactions. — The following land sales wero transacted : — Leaso : Miry A. Thomas, section 10, block 7, Kaupokonui, upset, Is. Deferred payment : R. Johns, section 9, block 7, Hawera, upsel, £10 ; W. Smaller, section 91, block 2, N^aire, upset, £4 10s. Tho total area of sales was 317 acres 2 roods 10 perches. Extensions. — John Sharrock, section 33, block 4, Kaupokonui ; George Cloul, section 31, block 16, Kaupokonui ; James Smith, section 47, block 6, N^aire ; A. J. Honey field, section 13, block 3, Ngaire ; Florence O'Donovaß, section 11 and 12, block 3, Ngaire ; D. Sinclair, sections 63 and 64, Moa ; Walter Hold way, section 7, block 7, Ngaire ; John Campbell, section 53, block 10, Ngaire ; A. M. Campbell, section 54, block 10, Ngaire, were all granted extension of timo to May 31, 1888, lo comply with final conditions of improvement. Transfers. — Raymond Jones was allowe 1 to transfer loaee of section 2G, block 2, Huiroa, to A. S. Roberts. John Frusor applied, and was allowed, to transfer a moiety of his interest in deferred payment section 19, block 14, Knupokonui, to Alex mder Eraser. John A. Fischer was granted leave lo transfer section 8, block 1, and section 3, block 5, Huiroa, to J. Fischer and J. Butler. Instalments. — The following were granted extension of time to November 30, 1887, to pay instalments of interest for rent : W. H. Denne, section 38. block 1, Oeo ;J. Hill, section 76 aud 77, block 12, Cape ; M. E. Byork, section 75, block 12, Cape ; E. R. Morgan, section 7, block 2, Cape ; J. E. Reed, section 57, block 2, N^;\ire. Letter. — Mr. Govett, who acted for Mr. Tuivers, of Wellington, wroto under date of 4th instant, in reference lo appealing against the transfer of section 620, Opaku, from P. and D. lluiley to D. F. and J. Hurley. — It is undeistood that the transfer baa been appealed against. Wa'imatc. — A letter, with a resolution enclosed, was received from tha Waimate Road Board in reference to two items objected lo in thjir plan of expenditure.
