Sandnes sold at low prioes. Frmt. — it the sale on Saturday oranges made 15s 6d ; apple3, l3s to 17s 6d ; lemons, 14s ; pines, 9a 6d. — On Thursday apples (damaged) made 10s to lls ; good oranges, 13s 6 J ; cocoanut9, Is 6. Cattle.— At Omata on Tuesday the bidding was dull. Cows (stores) made £1 10 ato £2; heifers, £2 12a 6d ; caive«, 17s 6d. — At Stony River on Wedaeslay I had a yard full of stock, bnt few buyers. Several lols changed hands after the sale, but several pens were sent home. Calves made 13s to 22s ; 2-year heifers (springing), £2 3s ; 18-months steGrs, £1 10s to £2 2s ; bull, £1 7s 6d.— At Waitara on Thursday veiy few cattle mustered. Spi:aging cows made £3 to £3 10s ; spr-ug-Ing heiiers. £2 12s 6d to £2 lbs. 2 buildings for tbe Haibour Board sold for £8 and £2 respectively.
