Adelaide, October 15. The strike of the wharf hands has collapsed, the men giviug way to the demands of their employers. Melbourne, Ootober 15. A nugget weighiug S6 ounces has been found on tho surface by a man working in a vineyard near Stawell (Pleasant Creek). Sydney, October 15. The Judgeship rendered vacant by the resignation of Sir William Manning has been offered to and accepted by Mr. Owen, a barrister of the Court of Ec[oity. A public meetiug has been called for Monday next for the purpose of showing practical sympathy with Sir Henry Parkes in his financial difficulties.
