The Marquis of Aylesbucy is about to apply to the Chancery Division of the High Court of Justice for an injunction to restrain the Jockey Club from enforcing their recent disqualification. ILLNESS OF THE ENGLISH PREMIER The Marquis of Salisbury is ill, and his medical adviser has ordered repose. The Standard, however, denies that the state of Lord Salisbury's health is serious. FRENCH WAR OFFICE SCANDALS. Pakis, October 12. The Gormau attempts to implicate Generals Boulangev, Milson, and Thibaudin in the War Office scandal have failed. A MIXED UP AFFAIB. General Baublaa, who is implicated in the War Office scandal, has disap^ peared, and it is supposed that he has committed suicide. Several society ladies have been arrested ou suspicion of beiug concerned iv the scandal. MILITARY CORRUPTION IN FRANCE. Pabis, October 13. The charge of peDing military decorations, preferred against General Caffarel, Assistant Secretary of the War Department, has been fully investigated by a military Council, with the result that thafc officer has been called upon to retire. GENERAL BODLANGER IN HOT WATEB. General Boulanger, having asserted that the Government aimed at him ia arraigning General Caffarel, M.Ferron, Miuister of War, has ordered Geueial Boulanger to explain his statement.
