Tuesday, October 11.— Before 0. E. Rawson, Esq., R.M, Judgment Summonsed. — P. P. Corkill (assignee of the book debts of C. F. Ilnro) v. F. Book, claim, £4 'd? 3d, vrith costs 19s, in default 10 days' v.r orison marit.—S.ime v. J. Becknellj claim, £11 17 3 10J ; with cysts, £2 2s; in default 15 dajs' imprison-ment.-—Same v. P. H. Chubb, claim, £5 8s ' 2d ; with coats, 16a ; iv default 7 days' imprisonment.— Simo v. E. Doher y, claim £4 ; with costs, 8s ; in default, 7 days' ! imprisonment.— Same v. J. Allen, claim, £9 12s sd. Claim, £11 18s., for 68 sacus of slacked Raglan lime.— Mr. Roy appeared for the plaintiff, and Mr. Oaplen for tho defendant. — Considerable evidence was called on both sides, the defence being that there were only 64 bags received, and they were not of weight. — The plaintiff gave in evidence that there were 68 bags sent, of full measurement, and according to sample bag previously sent to defendant. — Judgment was finally given for plaintiff for the amount claimed, with £2 4s. costs.
