His Excellency the Viceroy has forwarded a letter to the Nizam of Hyderabad expressing the warmest thanks of the Imperial Government for his magnanimous and opportune offer of assistance. His Excellency adds that Her Majesty the Queen ib extremely gratified at the offer of the welcome proffered aid as a fresh proof of friendship of the Nizam for the British Empire.
