T.HK Land Board met on Monday. Present: The Commissioner of Crown Lands (in the chair), Messrs. Kelly, Cowern, Livingstone, Standish, and Syme. Deferred Payment. — The following sales on deferred payment were effected : Sec. 70, block 10, Kaupokonui, to Duncan Campbell; aec. 12, block 9, to Henry Mulholland; sec. 54, block 11, to John Saiai; ccc. 55, block 11, to Mary Saini. The following tenders for deferred payment sections were accepted: Seo. 7, block 9, Opaku, Thomaa HuttOD, at £1 7s 6d; sec. 8, block 9, Opaku, Thomas Craft, £2 2b. , Transfers. — The following transfers were allowed: Sec. 17, block 12, Kaupokonui, from James Linn to Henry Linn; seo. 16, block 1, Kaupokonui, from executors of Richard Day, deceased, to* John Ryan; ccc. 40, block 14, Opunake, from John Garbado to A. W. Budge, J. McCutcban, and J.A. Foord; Bee. 15, block 8, Kaupokonui, from Thomas A. Bruoe to Ernest Morine. Grazing iton.— The lease of grazing run, No. 7, Opaku (1100 acres), was granted to E. Waiwakailio Road Board. — The schedule of the expenditure of the Waiwakaiho Road Board was approved of, subject to the report of the Ranger. University Reserves.— Oa the motion of Mr. Kelly, it was resolved, " That ag the non-occupation of the University Reserves stands in the way of settlement, and as it is probable that an extended power of lease would result in occupation, the Board recommend the Government to take aotion during the naxt session of Parliament to vest the reserve in a Government body, with an extended power of lease from 'l4 to 30 years." The Board rose.
