Lord Randolph Churchill addressed ft meeting of electors at South Paddington last night. He strongly supported the Irish Crimea and JGand Bills proposed by 4he Government. TRANSFER OP MAILS. The Tory and Unionist Press take exception to the provision in the Crimes Bill for the transfer of trials to England, whioh it is now thought Government will Hot seriously endeavor to retain. IMPERIAL CONFERENCE. The Daily News is of opinion that the* Imperial Conference should be. allowed to shape its own coarse without interference, and regrets the decision of the Secretary of the Colonies to exclude the Press, except on certain occasions. The Marquis of Norraanby, Sir Andrew Clark, Sir George Bowen, Mr CHiaen^*nd all the ex- Secretaries of State for the Colonies have been intited to take part in the deliberations of the Imperial Conference. THE BULGARIAN SITUATION. Bulgaria is rapidly getting into a critical condition. Business is at a complete standstill, and affairs are unsettled. Unless the existing difficulty is soon solved, there will be no alternative between submitting to Russia and facing financial ruin. It is understood that M. Stoiloff s mission is for the purpose of trying to raise a loan. . THE OON#ERBNOE DELEGATES. The Freetrade League intend to give a banquet to the colonial delegates. The Committee of the State* Aided Emigration Sooiety, comprising 130 members of Parliament, will confer with the delegates. THE -WEST AUSTRALIAN LASD COMPANY.
